One of the most frustrating things about internet travel can be punching in a search term, word or phrase and clicking on a search result that takes you to a page where you can't seem to locate the search term(s) you want. There's a solution. Hit the Edit menu in the upper left of your IE or Firefox window then Find (on This Page...) in IE or Find in This Page... on Firefox,(or CTRL+F on your keyboard). In Firefox, a slim window will appear at the bottom of your window with a small search box in which you can type your search term and press Enter on your keyboard or Find Next etc. For Windows Internet Explorer the procedure is similar. In the box that appears in front of you (not at the bottom of your window as in Firefox) type in your search term(s) and hit Find Next until you have found the subject of your search. In IE the term, if found, will be highlighted in blue. In Firefox the term will be highlighted in green on the page. One note here: for what it's worth, I've used both Find features in IE and Firefox and I have found the Firefox Find feature much more useful. IE just misses sometimes. If you use the Google Toolbar, enable the Highlight and Word Find features. Just click on the Options button on the toolbar , then the More tab. Under Find on Page tick Highlight and Word Find. Now whenever you go to a page looking for a term, you don't have to scroll up and down endlessly. Just click on your search term that on the right of the toolbar and it will go to the first instance of that term on the page. Click on the yellow marker icon and all the instances of that term will be highlighted in yellow.
